More than power and performance, the current Samsung Galaxy A series mid-range phones focus on style and features. When it came to performance, the Galaxy A52 came up a little short when compared to other competitors. Samsung has brought its upgrade, the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G and replaced the Snapdragon 720G SoC with the Snapdragon 778G in it. As a result, the Galaxy A52s is now capable of supporting 5G connectivity. Let’s take a look at what else has changed in the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G and is it worth going with.

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G Launch in India

More than power and performance, the current Samsung Galaxy A series mid-range phones focus on style and features. When it came to performance, the Galaxy A52 came up a little short when compared to other competitors. Samsung has brought its upgrade, the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G and replaced the Snapdragon 720G SoC with the Snapdragon 778G in it. As a result, the Galaxy A52s is now capable of supporting 5G connectivity. Let’s take a look at what else has changed in the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G and is it worth going with.

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G Price in India

An update to the Galaxy A52, which was released in March of this year, the Galaxy A52s 5G is a mid-year upgrade. Samsung’s Galaxy A52s 5G is available in India for Rs. 35,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. For Rs. 37,499, you can get a model with 8GB of RAM and the same amount of storage. Additionally, it’s available in Awesome Black and Awesome Violet colourways.

Samsung Galaxy A52s Design

On the front, there’s a Super AMOLED screen with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. Bezels on the sides seem narrower than those on the top and bottom of the device. The Galaxy A52s 5G includes a stereo speaker system, with the earpiece acting as a secondary speaker. Bottom right, you’ll find the USB Type-C connector, and on top, you’ll find the headphone jack (3.5mm). Similarly to the Galaxy A52, this phone features a dust and water-resistant IP67 rating.

Samsung Galaxy A52s Display

In terms of display, Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen. Compared to the Galaxy A52, the display’s refresh rate is now 120Hz, which must attract gamers.

Samsung Galaxy A52s Processor

This latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G is a fantastic performer, as we saw with the Realme GT Master Edition, and it provides the Galaxy A52s 5G a performance boost it desperately needs, coupled with 5G capabilities.

Both the 6GB and 8GB models include 128GB storage and a hybrid SIM slot that allows you to add more memory. One UI 3.0, based on Android 11, runs on the device.

Samsung Galaxy A52s Camera

There are no major upgrades to the specs of the camera. Besides the 64MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), there’s a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, as well as a 5MP depth sensor on the phone. A 32MP front-facing selfie camera is responsible for taking selfies.

Samsung Galaxy A52s Battery

The Galaxy A52s 5G features a 4,500mAh battery as well and supports 25W fast charging. Like the Galaxy A52, there’s just a 15W charger included in the package, which is disappointing.

Samsung Galaxy A52s First Impressions

As far as its specs are concerned, Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G appears to be a strong competitor that sits somewhere in between the mid-range segment’s upper and bottom tiers. The Galaxy A52s 5G appears to have a lot going for it, including an upgraded processor, dual speakers, a contemporary design, and IP67 certification.
