The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones went official on August 11, 2021. Both the flagship foldables ran on Android 11 OS right out of the box, at the time of launch. Now, the devices are finally receiving the Android 12 update in the form of One UI 4 Beta.

Recently, the beta for the flagship Samsung Galaxy S21 series of smartphones was closed. Now, it is time for the flagship foldables from the brand to test the new update. Moreover, a latest report claims that users of both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 in South Korea and India can enroll for the beta testing program.

To enroll for the One UI 4 Beta testing program, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Samsung Members application.

Step 2: Look for and tap on the Notices page.

Step 3: In here, tap on the One UI 4 beta enrollment button.

Then, right after a user’s enrollment is complete, the update should arrive to their devices soon. Users will then have to download and install to test out the new OS and its features.

OneUI 4.0 Beta: What’s New?

There are quite a variety of different things that the One UI 4 Beta update brings to the table. Of these, the one that stands out is Samsung’s Material You implementation. They laid emphasis on fitness and integrated the new design language into Samsung Health. This allowed them to set health goals with others. In addition, groups can now compete in completing training exercise objectives.

Further, the brand new update also brings a new Quick Share feature. This allows users to quickly transfer files between Galaxy devices and offers a lot of other features as well. One UI 4 Beta also offers users with an enhanced SmartThings Find. It will now allow users to fid their Galaxy Buds and S Pens. This is similar to Apple’s Lost Mode and is definitely a great addition to have.
