Tecno Phantom X Will Be Launched in India in April: Reports

The Tecno Phantom X phone was first introduced in African markets. It is the company’s first upper mid-range offering, featuring an AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel primary camera, a telephoto lens, and 33W fast charging support. According to Passionate Geekz, the Phantom X will be available in India sometime in April. According to reports, the phone will be out in two colours: Starry Night Blue and Summer Sunset.

The smartphone global variant has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There’s a chance it’ll have the same configuration in India. To keep costs down, it may also be available in 8GB+128GB or lower variants in the country.

Smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with curved edges, a pill-shaped punch-hole cutout, a 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

MediaTek Helio G95 12nm processor and a Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU running at 900MHz powers the smartphone. 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C are among the connectivity options.

The smartphone comes with 8GB of LPPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It comes pre-installed with the Android 11-based HiOS custom skin. For security, there is an in-screen fingerprint sensor, as well as a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It is 163.573.788.72mm in length.

On the back of the Phantom X are three cameras: a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.85 aperture and quad LED flash, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and aa 13-megapixel 50mm portrait camera.
