Tecno has confirmed that it will unveil its next-generation flagship series, the Tecno Phantom X2 series. The company will launch the series at its Dubai global launch event on December 7, 2022. This upcoming series is the successor to the Tecno Phantom X series smartphones that debuted in April 2021.
Tecno also announced that the upcoming Tecno Phantom X2 series smartphones would feature his MediaTek Dimensity 900 system-on-chip (SoC). Earlier this month, the company revealed the details at its Push Towards Premium webinar in London.

Tecno Phantom X2 Series: Expected Features
Regarding specifications, the Tecno Phantom X2 series may include two smartphone models, a base variant Tecno PhantomX2 and a higher variant Tecno Phantom X2 Pro. The two phones are confirmed to power on the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. Moreover, it will come with the company’s 4K eagle eye lens on the back. It will come as part of the phone’s overall camera package.

Both phones support his 5G connectivity, and we recommend installing a triple camera module on the back. Regarding connectivity, the Phantom X2 series smartphones are also expected to support Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC. In terms of battery, the Phantom X2 series smartphones might feature a 5,040mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging technology.
The Tecno Phantom X2 most certainly won’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack, but it will include a USB Type-C connector for charging. Additionally, it will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.

There is currently no information on when the phones will be launched in India. To recall, the TECNO Phantom X made its debut in India in May this year. It launched for Rs 25,999. The phone features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Helio G95 chipset powers the Phantom X.
