    Fitbit Sense 2 and Fitbit Versa 4 will get a software update. These software updates will offer key new features to the Fitbit wearables. The new fitness-focused smart wearables which are from Fitbit made their debut globally in mid-2022. These smartwatches are now capable of getting on-wrist incoming phone calls from the paired smartphone. Also, the screen can be turned off through a hand gesture.

    Features After Software Update Of Fitbit Smartwatches

    It stands similar to the features of other smartwatches from brands such as Apple and Samsung. The Fitbit Sense 2 and Fitbit Versa 4 released in India in September 2022. Along with the more affordable Fitbit Inspire 3.

    According to a report, the fitness bands have an inbuilt microphone and speaker. Moreover, they already come with hardware capabilities. It allows phone calls on the wrist from the paired smartphone.

    However, it relies on the Bluetooth connection with the paired smartphone. While the latest software update now lets users receive incoming calls on the wearables themselves. This brings convenient hands-free devices for the user’s smartphone.

    Amazingly, this update brings the user to receive incoming phone calls on wearable devices. According to the report, still placing outgoing calls on the Fitbit Sense 2 and Fitbit Versa 4 is not possible till now.

    While it stands different from those of brands such as Samsung and Apple. As this allows both incoming and outgoing calls on the wrist.

    It introduces the software update as the hand gesture to fast turn the screen off. The users simply have to cover the screen with their palms to turn the screen off. Besides, waiting for the screen timeout.

    Well, this feature is already available on competing devices. Fitbit stands a bit late to the game with it its premium wearables.
