Vivo is gearing up to launch its X70 series of smartphones soon. The X70 series will include the VivoX70, Vivo X70Pro and Vivo X70Pro Plus smartphones. All three of these models are surfacing in rumour mills lately. Furthermore, the company has confirmed the launch date of its new flagship smartphone series in China. According to the company, the X70 series will debut on September 9, 2021.
The smartphones are bagging certifications, hinting at an imminent launch. Now, the Vivo X70, X70Pro has appeared on the NBTC website. Moreover, X70 Pro+, X70 Pro has also surfaced on the BIS website. Let’s take a look at the series’s specs, features and other details.
Vivo X70 series launch confirmed; bags multiple certifications
Vivo has confirmed the launch date of the series in China. Ahead of the launch, the flagship smartphones have visited BIS and NBTC websites. According to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, the listed smartphones have model numbers V2105 and V2114. The X70, along with the X70 Pro, is listed on the NBTC website. Whereas, the Vivo X70 has the model number V2104.
Moreover, Vivo has already confirmed that the series will debut with Vivo’s custom V1 chip. Additionally, details about the Image Signal Processor (ISP) remain unknown at the moment. We can expect the company to unveil the details at the Vivo X70 series launch event.
On the other hand, tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@onleaks), along with 91Mobiles, shared some official-looking renders of the upcoming Vivo X70 Pro. According to the report, it will have a slightly curved display. It has a hole-punch cutout on top for the front camera. Moreover, above the 6.5-inch display is a large earpiece.
Meanwhile, on the back, the phone has a quad-camera setup. The rectangular camera module has two large cutouts and two smaller ones. The protruding camera module contains a triple LED flash. Previous leaks have suggested that Vivo X70 Pro will have a Full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,376 pixels. It’s believed to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and come with 8GB of RAM. According to other leaks, the Vivo X70 Pro will arrive with Android 11 pre-installed. The phone’s bottom will most likely have a slight chin. We will know more as more leaks pour in for the same.
