About the Mobile Phone
Realme 8 Pro Pros & Cons
The Realme 8 Pro is the successor to the Realme 7 Pro, and it features a striking design. It is thinner than its predecessor and available in a variety of eye-catching colours. The key difference between the Realme 8 Pro and the Realme 2 Pro is the quad-camera arrangement at the back, which includes a 108-megapixel primary camera. The phone is light and comfortable to hold.
It has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a hole in the upper left corner for the selfie camera. The display is full-HD+ with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G CPU, 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. You receive a 4,500mAh battery that can charge quickly at 50W. The Realme 8 Pro’s camera performance is hit or miss. The images taken in daylight were acceptable and lacked detail. The phone performs a decent job with portrait photographs, and the macros were sharp as well, despite being limited to 2-megapixel resolution. The camera’s low-light performance was adequate, with improved details in night mode.
Realme 8 Pro’s battery life was impressive, lasting 26 hours and 14 minutes in our HD video loop test. The supplied 50W charger charges the phone quickly, charging it to 75% in 30 minutes.

Realme 8 Pro Price in India
The sale started on the 25th of March and Realme 8 Pro comes in two variants. The base variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and the higher variant features 8GB RAM and 128G internal storage. As for the price, the Realme 8 Pro price for the 6GB RAM variant is Rs.17,999 and for the 8GB RAM variant, the price is Rs.19,999. The design language is quite good with a small punch-hole on the front along with a noticeable chin at the bottom. The rear panel looks stylish with a gradient pattern and along with the square-shaped camera module. With an overall weight of 176 grams, it will be comfortable to hold for longer durations.
As for the button, there is a power button and the volume rocker on the right and the SIM tray is there on the left side. The bottom side is featuring the Type-C charging port along with a speaker grille and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is an under-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.
The visuals are taken care of by a large 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 pixels of resolution and a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. Also, the FHD+ display features a peak brightness of 1000nits and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. Although the display with this configuration is sufficient for offering a seamless experience, it would have been much better to provide at least 90Hz of refresh rate, which is missing here and becomes a major problem for Realme 8 Pro.
The camera section of Realme 8 Pro is the selling point of this smartphone. There is a huge 108MP Quad-rear camera setup, composed of a 108MP primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.25 aperture, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP B&W sensor. Surely this is going to be very interesting for photography lovers with a low budget. The additional features that the rear camera is equipped with include Tilt-shift, Dynamic Bokeh, HDR, Night Scape etc. You can record high-quality videos with the rear camera of Realme 8 Pro. For selfies, there is a 16MP sensor under the small-sized punch-hole on the front.
As for the battery, there is a large 4500 mAh cell loaded inside Realme 8 Pro and the device supports lightning-fast charging speed as claimed by Realme. Yes, there is 50W SuperDart charge technology, which is sufficient to charge your device within 17 minutes up to 50% and just 47 minutes to 100% charge. There is a Type-C charging port for connecting the charger.
Realme 8 Pro is meant for photography enthusiasts, who are looking for a camera phone at an affordable price tag. Also, the RAM and internal storage are decent and Realme 8 Pro is sufficient for offering decent performance in terms of multi-tasking and gaming. However, there is no 5G and the display comes with a basic refresh rate. If you are ok with these two, then you can go ahead with this.
