Samsung Galaxy J2 Core 2020 Specifications
The Galaxy J2 Core 2020 is a revamped version of the Galaxy J2 Core that was released in 2018. The newer model offers the same dated design along with similar specifications, at an affordable price tag. So, there’s a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The spec sheet doesn’t mention any kind of glass protection on top, which the older model had. The display isn’t bezel less, which is quite surprising in 2020. So, there’s a thick old-school bezel design with a thick top and chin, no notches or holes.
The spec-sheet doesn’t mention the processor but there is a 1.4GHz quad-core chipset under the hood coupled with 1GB of RAM. There is 16GB of onboard storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Core camera is simple. At the back is a single-camera setup consisting of an 8-megapixel camera along with an f/2.2 aperture. This gets accompanied by an LED flash. There’s a 5-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture at the front for selfies and video calling.
For connectivity, the device gets Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, 4G VoLTE, Micro USB Port, Bluetooth v4.2 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Core battery department is ordinary with a 2,600mAh removable battery which as Samsung claims, can deliver up to 22 hours of talk time, 91 hours of audio playback and up to 12 hours of video playback.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core 2020 launch price in India is Rs. 6,299 and there is a single 1GB RAM + 16GB storage option.
