    Review Summary

    Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 can be a top pick for audiences in 2021 as the phone has Dual 120Hz displays, Snapdragon 888 chipset, under-display front-facing camera, S-pen support and 5G connectivity. However, the phone is expensive and it does support S-pen but it does not come with in-built S-Pen support.

    Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a few hits and misses when it comes to the phone’s features. The phone comes with a Dynamic AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, an extremely powerful processor, IP68 dust and water resistance, high-end Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and an excellent battery life. However, the phone’s drawbacks include its price which is fairly costly, a missing headphone jack and a relatively slower battery charging speed for its price.

    Processor and Storage

    Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 runs on Android v10 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The phone has excellent heat management capacity that further enhances gaming on the phone and allows the user to have longer gameplay sessions. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra runs on Android v10 (Q)  and is powered by Samsung Exynos 9 Octa 990. The phone heats up a bit because there is no cooling system for the Exynos chipset here. However, the hardware works excellently for gaming as well as multitasking but the software lags a bit. 

    When we compare Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in terms of storage, both the phones are available only in one single variant which is 256GB, 12GB RAM. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 does not support expandable storage whereas Note 20 Ultra does support expandable storage up to 1TB.

    Camera

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 12MP primary camera, 12MP Telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera. Overall, the phone is capable of producing quality images that come out sharp and colourful. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra also packs a triple rear camera with a 108MP primary camera, 12MP periscope lens and a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera. The phone’s camera produces pictures with great amount of details, good dynamic range and great colour accuracy. The night mode of the phone also works amazingly and is able to capture details both indoors and outdoors and adds the right amount of light to the pictures.
