Huawei Mate 40 is a great smartphone with some great work of engineering put into it. The performance is great thanks to 5nm process node manufacture of the SoC and power consumption on 5G network is less, thanks to the integration of the 5G modem in the SoC itself. This brilliant piece of technology is only eclipsed by its high pricing in comparison with its rivals and most of all, the absence of the Google Play Services from the Mate 40. Now, Huawei has tried to make it work by having its own Appstore integrated into the Mate 40 but it still cannot fill in some gaps. But keeping the drawbacks aside, the Mate 40 is a premium smartphone with specs to match any other smartphone out there.
