Huawei P50 Price in India
Prior to a worldwide rollout (if ever), Huawei has released the series in China, but specifications may differ depending on your location. Huawei P50’s base model with 8GB+128GB storage is priced at CNY 4,488 (approximately Rs. 51,600), and the 8GB+256GB option is priced at CNY 4,988. (roughly Rs. 57,300). Huawei P50 Design
Huawei P50’s design is extremely lovely, yet it isn’t flawless. It turns out that the three photo modules are too large and unusual, even though they are innovative. Nevertheless, the bezel-less screen itself, the strong tempered glass rear, the metal frame, and the sub-screen fingerprint scanner provoke only praise and even joy. Here the display is flat contrary to the curved display of the Huawei P50 Pro.
You wouldn’t expect to discover dust and moisture protection according to IP68 requirements in such an elegant monoblock. In the absence of an audio mini-jack, the USB Type-C connector and primary speaker are located on the bottom edge. In addition to the colour-matched borders on the rear, the physical buttons are all located on one side.
Huawei P50 Display
With its 6.5-inch OLED display and 90Hz refresh rate, as well as 300Hz touch sampling and 1400Hz PWM dimming, Huawei P50 is designed to safeguard the eyes. Also, HDR is supported on the display and it comes with a resolution of 2700 x 1224 and HDR playback support.
Huawei P50 Processor
The Snapdragon 888, the top-end flagship processor available for Android phones, is used in the Huawei P50, but with one exception. The device doesn’t support 5G connectivity. Huawei’s newest smartphone comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The device includes an NM card slot for extra storage.
All new Huawei P50 phones come pre-installed with the HarmonyOS 2, which is the company’s Android alternative that was revealed earlier this year. To be sure, the software isn’t a million miles away from Android, but it does bring a few differences.
Huawei P50 Camera
There’s a 50-megapixel True-Chrome camera (f/1.8), a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2), and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera (f/3.4) with OIS and AF support. With its Dual-Matrix Camera, Huawei says that it delivers “exceptional clarity” and a wide dynamic range. A 10-channel multi-spectrum sensor, Huawei XD Optics and the XD Fusion Pro Image Engine is all part of the system.
One of the new features is the “physics-defying” Huawei XD Optics, which fixes optical defects and reproduces details so that 25% of the picture signal may be regained. To increase clarity, colour, and dynamic range, Huawei’s XD Fusion Pro Image Engine replaces the P40’s XD Fusion Image Engine with a new Super Colour Filter System, True-Chroma Image Engine, and Super HDR technology.
As for the front camera, Huawei P50 has a 13MP wide-angle lens at f/2.4 and supports 4K video recording.
Huawei P50 Battery
The power requirements are managed by a 4100 mAh battery under the hood of the Huawei P50. Although there should have been a battery with more capacity, it gets compensated with a 66W fast charging support, which is capable of refilling the battery within minutes. There is no wireless charging support in the Huawei P50. For connecting the charger, there is a Type-C charging port.
Huawei P50 First Impressions
The major thing that is missing in the Huawei P50 given the present competition, is the 5G connectivity. Which may be a deal-breaker for most of the users. Although the rest of the specs are very strong including a capable chipset, storage and a superb camera setup, users will think a lot before going with this device.
