    About the Phone

Motorola One Vision comes with a special kind of design that stands out in the current market. It has a few pros and cons:

    Pros

    • The phone has a premium-looking design and comes with a tall physique.
    • The  Motorola One Vision has a 21:9 display meant to provide you with a complete cinematic experience.
    • The phone arrives with a reliable, fast performance that can keep the phone blazing fast.
    • The camera shots on this phone are quite decent and are especially impressive when you consider the low-light shots with Night Vision Mode on.

    Cons

    • The display of this phone is not exceptionally sharp, and the viewing angles are poor.
    • The battery of Motorola One Vision fails to keep its fuel during heavy use.
    • The audio captured during video shooting is poor.

The Motorola One Vision stands out as a phone with a beautiful display. However, it does keep its other aspects like performance and design in the top order, along with an impressive camera. Overall, it is a great handset and an instant recommendation.

Motorola One Vision has come with a new stand-out feature that is a 21:9 aspect ratio. Priced at Rs. 19,999, the Motorola One Vision is looking forward to giving the audience an enjoyable cinematic experience.

Arriving with a director’s way of presenting films, the Motorola One Vision is not only banking on its display. The phone pairs its stand-out display with incredible performance and a set of cameras, thereby providing an all-round phone for Moto fans and average users.

The Motorola One Vision has gone for a curved glass design with good-looking round edges. It has a gradient design with the central area of the rear panel being darker and the entire colour fading away. The design is attractive and catches the eye. Plus, the phone body blends with the plastic rim that runs along the edge of the phone, thereby providing an excellent feel to it. Plus, it has an oleophobic coating, which is IP-52 rated. It can handle splashes. On the right, the phone hosts the power button and a volume rocker, placed at the ergonomic position. At the bottom, it has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack too.

The Motorola One Vision comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ punch-hole display and has a resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels. It is an IPS display with a pixel density of 432ppi. However, the real catch of this phone is the 21:9 aspect ratio. A Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the handset, but the company claims that the 21:9 aspect ratio is one of the best for watching videos on platforms like YouTube. It has been called the CinemaVision display. It’s a narrow profile, but due to the change, the phone becomes a bit tall and unnatural to hold. While in Netflix, there is content suitable for a 21:9 aspect ratio, but there are few games in that aspect ratio. So, finding appropriate content will be a hassle.

Regarding the display, the colours are punchy and bright enough to help outdoors. However, it is not entirely accurate as it has a bit of a blue tint which is not something present in AMOLED screens. Also, the top bezels and chin at not kept at the minimum. However, the cinematic experience on this phone is genuinely pleasant.

Motorola One Vision gets its power from the octa-core Exynos 9609 chipset which is clocked at 2.2GHz. It is a hit slower than Samsung Galaxy A50s Exynos 9610. It comes with 4GB RAM. The phone proves itself to be a great performer. It can run multiple apps smoothly without entering into any kind of slow down. The phone can also help with heavy multitasking. In the case of games, the phone can run PUBG Mobile in high graphics settings and keep it a lag-free experience. It gets a multi-core score of 5,403 points, which is quite excellent.

The Motorola One Vision comes with a whopping 48MP camera along with a 5MP depth sensing lens. It has optical illusion as well, which can help in stabilizing hand movement. The phone has a 25MP selfie camera as well, so you get a bump in your selfie-capturing capabilities. In daylight shots, the phone tends to take overexposed images, which will be a bit disappointing. The natural colours do not come out but activating HDR mode can adjust this problem. For macros, the edge detection stands out and which smoothens out the texture and makes the colour gradient pop out. At night time, the phone fares poorly since it gets a bit of noise in the images. By using Night Vision, you can brighten up the colours of the picture too.

The 25MP selfie camera does a great job too, delivering a crisp selfie. The bokeh is good also, and it can bring out vibrant selfies as well. There is minimal smoothing, and thus, it preserves the natural skin tones.

For videos, the rear camera can click 30fps and 60fps videos at Full HD, but at 4k, it can only click 30 fps. OIS helps to smoothen out any hand movements. However, the camera tends to hunt for focus, and it loses out on true colours. Plus, the audio is poor. The phone also comes with slo-mo video shooting capabilities at 240 or 120fps.

The phone comes with a moderate battery of 3,500mAh battery, which is small compared to its 4000 mAh competitors. However, it can keep chugging on for a whole day even with reasonable use like Slack, one hour of gaming, calling and music. Heavy usage can make the battery drain faster. Running an HD video on a loop on this phone made it last for 11 hours and 45 minutes, which is quite decent. It can charge from 0-100% within 2 hours.

The Motorola One Vision is attractive, and its 21:9 punch-hole display stands out. It is the cinematic excellence that it pushes for. The performance of this phone is amazing, with even gaming being smooth and efficient. Overall, the cameras of the phone are not the best in the market, but it does its job without makes the images too miserable, and so, it is acceptable. Overall, the Motorola One Vision is a well-rounded phone with its chief feature – the 21:9 display being the USP. However, it is not a new aspect ratio, since 21:9 screen is also present in Sony Xperia 1.
