Realme 15 Pro Design and Build
Appearance is the silent ambassador of any product, and a perfect line for the Realme 15 Pro design. This phone features a fibreglass matte finish on the back, which helps prevent the accumulation of fingerprint smudges and stains, enhancing its overall appearance.
There is also an option for a silicone polymer (eco-leather) back, but it may not be as durable for long-term use. I am currently using the Silk Purple colour, which I really like; other available options include Flowing Silver and Velvet Green.
This phone features a design similar to the Apple iPhone 15 Pro models, equipped with three cameras and a dual LED flash. An interesting addition is the RGB lights surrounding the third camera, which blink for notifications and during charging.
In terms of hand feel, I took this phone to the market without a cover, and I found it quite comfortable. Its design fits perfectly in my hand, and the quad-curved edges make it easy to hold without any discomfort. However, I would recommend that my readers use a protective case since the phone comes with one in the box.
On the right side of the phone, you’ll find the volume and power buttons, while the left side is completely free of buttons. The brand has also included stereo speakers: one at the top of the phone, along with a microphone, and the second speaker strip is located at the bottom, alongside a USB Type-C slot and a SIM tray.
Realme 15 Pro Camera
Good design may catch the eye, but the camera captures it, and the Realme 15 Pro performs well with its lens. I want to clarify that this phone’s images tend to have a high level of saturation, which contributes to producing eye-catching results.
There are two types of audience: one always perceives images based on reality, but there are more who look for beauty and fairness in their images for a better appearance.
I’m not going to categorise myself, but I posted its image result, and many liked it. Some of those who liked it pointed out its extra saturations.
I clicked several images in different conditions and modes. You can see that the image results are quite sharp and bright. This phone captures close to reality, but AI processing adds more vividness to the image.
You can see that my shirt colour has changed slightly from the original, but overall, the images look stunning, and I liked the results.
Portrait mode also excels in its results; you can see how perfectly it picks out the edges and produces eye-catching images.
I also took some shots of dishes in low-light conditions, and you can see that it looks like it was shot with a professional camera with added colour grading.
Moving to its front camera, it also offers stunning image results, and you can see an image sample. This phone is perfect for photogenic people, those who always use their phone to click images.
Users also get 4K video recording, so it is suitable for content creation too.
Realme 15 Pro Battery and Charging
The battery determines whether your day ends or continues, and the Realme 15 Pro’s 7,000mAh battery keeps your day going. I played many games, but I still managed almost a full day afterwards. Even when I’m not gaming, its battery life improves significantly. So, there’s no doubt about its battery performance.
The brand sells different types of batteries in China and India, using Lithium-ion batteries. For other parts of the world, they offer Si-C batteries. The main difference between these two types is the material used in the battery’s anode, which is a part that helps store energy. Lithium-ion batteries usually have an anode made of graphite, while Si-C batteries use a mix of silicon and carbon. This change in materials allows Si-C batteries to store more energy and have a higher capacity compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries.
One of the best things about Realme offering a charger in the box is that you get an 80W SuperVOOC fast charger. So, it can charge your phone to 50 per cent in just 25 minutes and around 100 per cent in about 55 minutes during my test.
Realme 15 Pro Display
The screen is where the story begins, and the Realme 15 Pro offers an OLED display to create a pleasing impact while watching movies and other content. I watched several movies on Jiohotstar during my Realme 15 Pro review period, and your view is going to be next level with it. There are no colour drops, including dark black colours.
You can also enjoy high-quality content because of HDR10+ support. You can also use it during daylight due to its peak brightness of 6500 nits. I tested it in direct sunlight to see if it worked properly, and the result was satisfactory enough.
One of the best features to add is that it offers a 144Hz refresh rate for a smooth scrolling experience. Recently, I used Vivo V50, Realme GT 7, Realme P3 Ultra, etc., but none of these phones offer a 144Hz refresh rate within the same price segment.
I’m adding it a little bit later, but its quad-curved display gives a premium look and enhances the daily usage experience. However, one thing I personally felt was that accidental taps during gaming sessions happen due to the curved display. Apart from this, its display has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, making it stress-free from easy damage.
Realme 15 Pro Performance
If the battery is the heart, then the processor is the mind of the phone, and the Realme 15 Pro’s mind is quite sharp. This phone has a Qualcomm SM7750-AB Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (4 nm) chipset, offering smooth performance on daily use. I never faced any lag issues during everyday use.
But one thing needs to be added, especially for gamers. This phone is not for gaming enthusiasts because the screen will get stuck during hot drops or end drops, showing a prompt to lower the graphics for smoother performance. While overall gaming is smooth, during hot drops or end drops, a slight stutter can send you back to the lobby.
Although there is no major heating issue, I personally liked this aspect of the phone the most. You can get up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This phone features UFS 3.1 storage, but it could have UFS 4.0 storage in this price range.
I did several Benchmark tests on the Realme 15 Pro to check its accurate performance in different aspects. Its Geekbench CPU scores are 1195 in single-core and 3352 in multi-core. The maximum in the CPU throttling test is 88 per cent. Moreover, its Antutu score is 1028333. The 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability has an overall score of 97.3 per cent.
Realme 15 Pro Software and UI
The Realme 15 Pro runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0. Moreover, the brand offers a three-year UI updated with four security updates. The interface looks clean, smooth, and fast. There are small animations that make the experience more premium.
Yes, there are a few pre-installed apps, but you can uninstall them easily. I like that Realme has added useful features like smart sidebar, floating windows, and a good set of privacy tools. Switching between apps is quick, and I never felt any lag.
Realme UI 6.0 also brings good customisation options. You can change icons, always-on display styles, and even the fingerprint animation. Regular users will appreciate the simplicity, while power users will appreciate the extra tweaks.
Overall, the software experience in the Realme 15 Pro review adds value to daily usage.

The Realme 15 Pro review makes one thing clear: this phone is a perfect choice for photography lovers and everyday users. You get sharp images, long battery life, a bright display, and a premium design.
But if you are a hardcore gamer who spends hours on BGMI or COD Mobile, this phone will not fully satisfy you. The frame drops in high-pressure zones are noticeable.
For everyone else, the Realme 15 Pro gives a flagship feel in mid-range pricing. It balances style, performance, and camera power. If gaming is not your top priority, this is one of the best options in the market right now.
But you can also see some phones in the same price range, such as iQOO Neo 10, Motorola Edge 60 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Civi, Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, etc.
