Flipkart has finally revealed its Big Billion Days 2023 festive sale date. The Big Billion Days is one of the year’s most anticipated sales, with huge discounts on smartphones and other electronic products. It will start on October 8 this year and last till October 15. Additionally, Flipkart Plus members will get 24-hour early access and faster delivery during the sale.

Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale will coincide with Amazon’s Great Indian Festival Sale, starting on October 8. Some deal prices are already live for the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, with heavy discounts on phones like the Google Pixel 7 and the Nothing Phone (1).

The Pixel 7 is available for a price of Rs.36,499, down from its original price of Rs.59,999.Similarly, the Nothing Phone (1) is on sale for Rs.23,999, a heavy reduction from its launch price of Rs.32,999.

This sale will also have six new phone launches going on sale for the first time ever. These include the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G, Motorola Edge 40 Neo, Samsung Galaxy F34 5G, Vivo T2 Pro 5G, and the upcoming Google Pixel 8 series and Vivo V29 series.

Flipkart Introduces Price Lock Feature

Flipkart is also introducing a new price lock feature that will allow users to purchase a product at the deal price by pre-booking it. This means you can lock any limited-time offer by paying a small amount in advance. However, the amount that you need to pay is not clear yet. Amazon introduced a similar feature last year during its Great Indian Festival sale.

The feature can be helpful for those looking to get assured stock at the mentioned price because limited-time offers usually get sold out fast. According to Flipkart, you can choose the products with the price lock beforehand and then purchase the price lock pass for the specific product variant. Price lock pass owners will get early access to the sale and be given 48 hours to buy the product they choose.

Products available for pre-booking with the price lock feature will be live from October 1 to October 3. All pass owners will get the guaranteed lowest price on their product for 48 hours with assured stock availability. Note that this is a one-time pass, and you can only use it to purchase one variant of a particular product. Furthermore, the pass price is included in the product’s lowest price. Also, this pass is non-refundable, and no cancellation requests will be accepted.

How To Get Flipkart Plus And Plus Premium Membership?

Flipkart Plus And Flipkart Plus Premium members get 24-hour early access to the sale starting October 7. To become a Flipkart Plus member, you don’t need to pay any subscription amount and shop at least four times within 12 months on Flipkart. Your Plus membership will be automatically activated once you fulfil this requirement.

The eligibility criteria for Flipkart Plus Premium membership is to shop at least eight times within 12 months. While Plus members get up to 50 Supercoins with each order, Plus Premium members, on the other hand, enjoy up to 300 Supercoins with each purchase. Both offer early access and exclusive deals, which can be handy during the Big Billion Days Sale.

Flipkart Big Billion Days: Bank Offers And Discounts

Flipkart has partnered with ICICI, Axis and Kotak Mahindra Bank to offer up to 10 per cent instant discount on purchases using credit and debit cards. Furthermore, users can also “guaranteed savings” with Paytm UPI and wallet transactions.
