Galaxy A52 Update Brings Galaxy S21’s Camera Feature, Improvements

We all know of Samsung’s best flagship camera features are in Samsung Galaxy S21. Now, some of the flagship camera features have started rolling out to the mid-range Galaxy A52. It is happening via a new software update. In addition, this update also offers three new Portrait mode effects, including high-key mono, low-key mono, and backdrop effect. The update changelog also mentions the update improves the camera. Additionally, it mentions overall performance of the phone, such as the stability of the touchscreen.

According to a new report from TizenHelp, the update is currently live in Indonesia. However, its availability in other regions is not clear at the moment. The new Samsung Galaxy A52 camera update arrives with firmware version A525FXXU1AUD2. It is around 415MB in size. It also brings the April 1st, 2021 security patch. It flaunts a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it also has a punch-hole display for the selfie snapper, and 800nits brightness.

Galaxy A52 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. In addition, it also comes with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. This is further expandable via a microSD card.

The phone boots Android 11 OS with OneUI 3.1 custom skin out of the box. A 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support fuels the phone.

Samsung Galaxy A52 has a quad-camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary sensor with AF OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. It is equipped with a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats, Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
