In numerous leaks online, we are seeing the existence of a 65-W fast charger for Samsung in the works. This is a new addition, as the company does not have such a charger as of now. However, this time it makes it concrete in some way as it surfaces on the BIS India certification site. This, in turn, means that it will come to India this year. The listing reveals the model number (EP-TA865) of the fast charger.

Furthermore, it previously surfaced on the TUV SUD certification website. Currently, most of Samsung smartphones feature 25W fast charging support, with the highest standing at 45W charging. Let us take a look at the 65W fast charger BIS listing.

Samsung 65W Fast Charger Coming Soon?

According to the listing, it reveals the model number of the fast charger, which is EP-TA865 for Samsung. It previously surfaced on the TUV SUD certification website. Moreover, the new charger supports a maximum of 20V or 3.25A. This simply means that it will support a 65W fast charging solution.

On the other hand, LetsGoDigital shared some live images of the charger online. It has the same model number as the one listing on the BIS and TUV SUD certification websites. The images reveal that the Samsung charger will have a USB Type-C slot. It means that users will get a USB Type-C to Type-C cable alongside. Moreover, the images also reveal that it will support PD(Power Delivery) and PPS(Programmable Power Supply).

However, there is no word on when Samsung is going to make it available. It will most likely be a new Galaxy flagship device, or could also be a mid-ranger A series. Because Samsung sometimes launches new technologies with these devices.
