iPhone 13 impending launch is coming closer and closer as leaks are pouring in from everywhere. We know that the series is expecting to launch sometime in September to later this year. Although no confirmation has come through the company as of yet. However, several new leaks have leaked revealing key details of the upcoming model.
Apple is prioritising under the hood changes for this upcoming series while retaining iPhone 12 design. Apparently, iPhone 13 will have considerable upgrades in its’ battery and camera performance. A report from Bloomberg claims that Apple will introduce at least three new camera and video-recording features.
iPhone 13 to Feature ProRes for Videos, Smaller Notch, and More
Ahead of the launch, some key details about the device’s camera have leaked. According to Bloomberg, Apple will introduce Portrait mode video on the next iPhone. A new ProRes video-recording feature will let iPhone users capture HD or 4K clips in a higher-quality format that gives editors more control during post-production.
In addition, they will add a new filter-like system that improves the look and colours of photos for iPhone 13. Users will be able to choose from several styles to apply to their photos. Especially including one for showing colours at either a warmer or cooler temperature while keeping whites neutral.
Apple also plans to include Portrait Mode video in this year’s iPhone 13 series. It will allow users to record videos with an added bokeh effect behind the subject. This report once again confirmed that that the upcoming iPhones will feature a faster A15 chip, a smaller notch, and new display technology that will enable a higher 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, other leaks suggest it can come with a larger wireless charging coil that could result in faster wireless charging support. Moreover, previous reports suggested that the new iPhones will get a bigger battery.
