Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has been looking forward to launching their Z5 series in China. The series will consist of the iQOO Z5 5G and the iQOO Z5 Pro 5G and will launch in China on September 23, 2021. Now, the series has now been teased to launch in India soon. For now, an official launch date has not been revealed yet. However, the subtle hints that the company’s tweet gave off were surely enough to expect an imminent launch of the device in India.
In addition, noted tipster Techno Ankit has now taken to Twitter to reveal that the smartphone’s battery specifications have also been confirmed by the company. Ahead of launch, we now know of the upcoming iQOO Z5 5G’s battery specs. According to the company’s tweet, a “new buZZZZZ” is coming soon. Now, going by the fact that there are five Zs in there, it definitely hints at the Z5 series launch in India.

iQOO Z5 5G Specifications
Now, according to Ankit’s tweet, the Z5 5G will be coming with a big 5000mAh battery. In addition, the battery capacity of the device will pair up with 44W fast charging support as well. Now, going by previous leaks and reports, the upcoming smartphone will feature a full-HD+ AMOLED display. In addition, the display will come with a fast 120Hz refresh rate as well.

Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. Further, the octa-core chipset will pair up with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. When it comes to the software, the device will run on Android 11 OS right out of the box. For now, this is all that can be said about the upcoming device. Hopefully, more details will surface online in the coming days and we will finally get to hear of an official India launch date.
