A new MacBook Pro leak suggests that Apple could launch its next-generation MacBook Pro and iPad mini 8 later this month. The upcoming devices may arrive with major display upgrades, including an OLED touchscreen for the MacBook Pro and an OLED panel for the iPad mini 8.
According to reports, Apple could hold a launch event on October 27 or October 28, 2026. However, the company has not officially confirmed the event, launch date or specifications. The new MacBook Pro could also become significantly more expensive in India because of its expected display upgrade and rising component costs.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has reportedly indicated that Apple is preparing an event in Los Angeles on October 27. Other reports suggest the announcement could take place on October 28.
The OLED MacBook Pro may carry a starting price around 20% higher than the current model. For reference, the 14 inch MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro chip, 24GB RAM and 1TB SSD starts at ₹2,99,900 in India.

Based on the reported price increase, the upcoming OLED model could cost approximately Rs 3,59,880. However, this remains an estimate, and Apple has not announced official pricing.
The iPad mini 8 could also receive a price revision. The current seventh generation iPad mini starts at Rs 69,900 for the 128GB Wi Fi model. The next version could remain near this price or cost slightly more.
