MIUI 13 Features

The primary objective behind introducing virtual RAM expansion via the MIUI 13 update is to speed up older Xiaomi phones. With changing technology and increasing requirements for every application over the years, the older phones are left behind. Something that has been launched two years ago becomes outdated in the realm of technology. Now, the RAM expansion tech will allow these older phones to run smoothly.

Additionally, smartphones that do not come with a powerful processor will become faster and smoother with the virtual RAM tech. What the new technology basically does is it allows the smartphone to use a particular amount of its internal storage as RAM. This increases the overall RAM and allows the smartphone to perform much better.

Going by the reports, MIUI 13 will allow Xiaomi devices to extend their RAM by 3GB. Additionally, reports also suggest that the upcoming custom MIUI skin will allow users to toggle this feature on or off. Furthermore, the Xiaomi CC11 series of smartphones will reportedly be the first smartphones by the company to come with the MIUI 13 right out-of-the-box. Also, the update will be rolled out for all devices that have been launched in the last two years.
