OnePlus Nord Update for OxygenOS 11.1.7.7 Now Rolling Out

OnePlus has finally decided to give the OG OnePlus Nord its due update. The brand has recently been rolling out OxygenOS updates for quite a few of its Nords. These include the OxygenOS 11.0.4 update for OnePlus Nord N100. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G has also received the OxygenOS 11.0.12.12 update. Now, the very first Nord in the series is receiving the OxygenOS 11.1.7.7 update. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest update!

OnePlus Nord Update OxygenOS 11.1.7.7 Changelog

Although the update is not that heavy in nature, it is quite the package. For starters, for time immemorial, Nord users have been facing a call forwarding failure issue. The brand new OxygenOS 11.1.7.7 update fixes this glitch. In addition, the latest Android 11-based update brings the November 2021 Security Patch to the table as well.

Official forums reveal that the latest OnePlus Nord update comes with three different firmware versions. For Indian users, the device is receiving the firmware version 11.1.7.7.AC01DA. Further, European users will get to see the 11.1.7.7.AC01BA firmware version. Lastly, the North American region will receive the 11.1.7.7.AC01BA update.

The brand has also confirmed the update to be incremental in nature. In other words, the latest OnePlus Nord update will first roll out to a small section of users. Later on, it shall roll out to all users. The official update changelog for the new OxygenOS 11.1.7.7 update is as follows:

How to Update?

In order to update your device to the latest version, follow these steps:

Step 1: Head into the Settings panel of your OnePlus Nord.

Step 2: In here, tap on the About Device section.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the System Update Page. Here, you can check for updates. If your device has received it, you can update it to the latest OxygenOS 11.1.7.7. Reboot your device and it’s all ready.

Another thing to note is that the brand recommends users to keep at least 3GB of free space on their device. In addition, they also recommend to update when the device has at least 30% battery.
