According to multiple rumours, OnePlus plans to launch its first tablet to compete with the recently released Galaxy Tab S8 and Xiaomi Pad 5. The device dubbed the ‘OnePlus Pad 5G’ is expected to be released in the first half of 2022 at a low price. However, according to renowned tipper Mukul Sharma, the OnePlus Pad has entered serial production in several European and Eurasian regions, with an impending launch. Let us look at it in more details.
As is customary, the devices will be released in China first – months before the rest of the world.
OnePlus Pad 5G Specifications ( Expected)
Another Twitter tipster, Shadow Leak, has also provided a complete list of hardware and pricing information for the OnePlus Pad 5G. The tipsters have not revealed any other variants, implying that OnePlus will only release one model as a first-time entry.
The device will come with Android 12 pre-installed and a dual-camera setup at the back – 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel. There’s an 8-megapixel lens on the front for selfies and video calls. 10,090mAh battery that supports 45W charging powers the tablet.
A fingerprint scanner on the side for authentication, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.1 are also possible. The device expects to cost 2,999 Chinese Yuan when released is about Rs. 35,940.
