Redmi launches the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max in China today. Both phones bring flagship-level hardware, including Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Pre-orders are already live in China ahead of today's official sale.
The K100 Pro Max is the bigger phone of the two, with a massive 9,070mAh battery. That's a big jump from the 7,560mAh battery in last year's K90 Pro Max. The K100 Pro, meanwhile, focuses on raw performance and comes with a unique glow-in-the-dark back panel option.

Will Redmi K100 Pro And K100 Pro Max Launch In India?
Xiaomi has not officially confirmed an India launch for either phone yet. However, tipster Debayan Roy has reported that Xiaomi is considering bringing at least one model from the K100 Pro series to India. The tipster used the phrase "if everything goes well," which suggests the plan is still in early stages and not finalised.

If Xiaomi does move ahead, industry trackers expect the Redmi K100 Pro to be priced somewhere between Rs. 65,990 and Rs. 69,990 in India, based on early estimates. The Redmi K100 Pro Max is expected to cost around Rs. 64,999 if it also makes it to India. Both figures are unofficial for now and could change once Xiaomi confirms a launch date.
The Redmi K series has mostly stayed limited to China in recent years, with related models arriving in global markets under the POCO brand instead. Globally, the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max are expected to be rebranded as the POCO F9 Pro and POCO F9 Ultra. If Redmi does bring a K100 Pro model to India directly, it would mark the return of the Redmi K series to the country after a long gap.
