Samsung has officially expanded its latest software testing phase, expanding the One UI 8.5 device list to more Galaxy smartphones. The company continues to widen access to its new interface, allowing more users to try upcoming features before the stable release. This move shows Samsung’s focus on improving user experience across both flagship and mid-range devices.
The beta program is now rolling out to several popular models, including the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, and the Samsung Galaxy A36. This expansion makes the One UI 8.5 device list more inclusive than before.
More Galaxy Devices Join The One UI 8.5 Beta Device List

Samsung confirmed that users in select regions can now access the beta update. These regions include India, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Users can check availability through the Samsung Members app, where a banner will appear once the beta is available for their device.

Since this is a phased rollout, not all eligible users will receive the update at the same time. Samsung is gradually enabling access to ensure stability and gather feedback.
Newly supported devices include:
- Samsung Galaxy S23 series (including S23 FE)
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5
- Samsung Galaxy A36
New Features And Future Expansion Plans
Along with expanding the One UI 8.5 device list, Samsung is also enhancing features within the beta. One of the key highlights is improved file sharing through Quick Share, which now supports cross-device functionality similar to AirDrop on newer Galaxy models.
Devices already benefiting from these updates include the Samsung Galaxy S25 series and the Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup, along with newer foldables.
Samsung has also confirmed that more Galaxy devices will join the One UI 8.5 device list later this month. This indicates a broader rollout strategy, likely covering additional mid-range and older flagship phones.
With this expansion, Samsung continues to strengthen its software ecosystem, ensuring that more users get early access to new features and improvements.
