According to the tipster, the react to messages feature in WhatsApp would bring some significant changes in the app. The feature will be available in both individual chat threads and group chat threads. This innovation from the company is likely to allow users to react to a message using different emojis similar to that in Instagram.

WABetaInfo reports that WhatsApp is planning to release the possibility to react to messages in a future update. This feature is still under development, and it may not be available in the latest beta either. While reactions will show up below the message, there will be a separate reaction info tab to let users see who reacted to a message.

The tipster has shared a screenshot of the new reaction info tab. The app will now have an All tab consisting of all reactions of the users. Also, there is a specific tab for WhatsApp groups that reacted to a message using a specific emoji. WABetaInfo reports that a user can only react to a specific message once, and reactions are limited to six emojis. This highlight was available during the development of WhatsApp beta for iOS. But the brand is probably also working on bringing the same ability on WhatsApp beta for Android.
