Xiaomi has its hands laid on the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones. So, this flagship is soon going to make its debut in China. As per some reports, the Xiaomi 13 may launch sometime in December 2022 in the country. The company may at least bring the vanilla smartphone of this series to India. It is suggested as the smartphone was spotted on the Indian BIS certification website.

Xiaomi 13 Specifications

The smartphone is suggested to come with a 6.2-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It has a centrally-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. This offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 50-megapixel primary camera.

The upcoming smartphone will likely have Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box. It will have power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. That will pair with up to 12 GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal memory.

The leaked renders suggest that the Xiaomi 13 will feature a square-shaped rear camera module. Along with a metal frame. It will provide 67W fast charging support.

BIS Listing

As per the BIS listing, the smartphone with the model number Xiaomi 2210132G has recently been certified in India. However, this certification listing is not an assurance of the launch.

But the expectation of the release of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship in India is higher. As this was the case even with the previous flagship smartphones. Moreover, the letter “G” in the smartphone’s model number highlights the global variant of the phone.

So it’s expected that the global variant of the device will even make its way to India. But Xiaomi may not manufacture the device locally in the country.
