The Xiaomi Redmi K60 series is likely to be the next release of Xiaomi. A Chinese tipster has already revealed details about an upcoming Redmi K60 smartphone. Moreover, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor may power the smartphone.
According to the latest leak, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU will power the Redmi K60. It will come with 12GB RAM and, reportedly, 256GB internal capacity. Furthermore, the phone includes a 6.67-inch 2K flat panel with eye protection. It is claimed to have a big 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging.
The Redmi K60 series will most likely be the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi K50 range. Recently, information about the smartphone series was released online. According to the source, the handsets would have a hole-punch display design with a 2K resolution. The future versions will support 100W charging.
Moreover, the smartphone will feature a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Additionally, while some of the newly leaked details (such as battery capacity) are consistent with the earlier leak, some are not. For example, the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Chipset was formerly rumored to power the Redmi K60. Furthermore, the gadget includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS.
There is a possibility that Redmi will release the Redmi K60 with two processor options.
