Samsung brings a stable version of One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 for Samsung Galaxy A53 5G users in European countries. Moreover, the exciting news is that this software update has arrived ahead of its time.

The software update of One UI 5.0 for the smartphone was earlier scheduled for a December 2022 rollout. This refers that the new update has come a month early. However, the security patch for the new software still seems to be on the older October 2022 version. 

New Update

The company has rolled out the One UI 5.0 based on the Android 13 software update to its Samsung Galaxy A53 5G owners in Europe. Now it comes just ahead of the holiday season. This new update is also expected to roll out in a phase-wise manner in other markets soon. 

The stable Android 13 version of the One UI comes with firmware version A536BXXU4BVJG. It brings the new and updated One UI 5.0 to the smartphone. While it is still running on the October 2022 security patch. 

How To Check The Software Update?

The software update can be checked by going to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. However, the rollout is currently only limited to Europe. But the other markets are expected to receive it very soon.

One UI 5.0 Update

This new One UI 5.0 skin comes with overhauled UI design. Along with the expanded Color Palette feature. Also with an efficient notifications design and a simplified Settings menu. The stock apps on the OS are also redone. This completely changes the overall look of the UI.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G was released in March 2022. It comes as a mid-range Android smartphone. The smartphone has a 6.5-inch high-refresh AMOLED display. Along with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is packed with 5,000mAh. That supports 25W fast charging.

The smartphone is powered by the homegrown 5nm Exynos 1280 chipset. That is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB. It can be expanded up to 1TB through a microSD card slot.

The phone offers a quad-camera system at the back. It includes a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS. Also, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

Plus, a 5-megapixel macro shooter. It has a 32-megapixel front shooter at the front. The complete smartphone is packaged in an IP67-certified body.
