The Nova 8 SE key specifications have been revealed ahead of launch. Moreover, certain live images of the device have surfaced online as well. This reveals the design elements of the device. Going by these images, the Huawei Nova 8 SE will have an iPhone 12 like design. The design will include a flat frame alongside a rear camera module similar to Apple’s latest release.

Additionally, the smartphone will most likely come in four color options namely White, Blue, Black, and Silver. Besides, the leaked renders also reveal a waterdrop-style notch at the front display of the phone. However, the hands-on images do not reveal the front panel of the device. Besides, we can see that the volume rocker and power button are on the right side. Additionally, the USB Type-C port, speakers and microphone are at the bottom. Huawei Nova 8 SE Expected Specifications
The Huawei Nova 8 SE is said to come with a 6.53-inch OLED Full HD+ display. Additionally, the display will come with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. Nothing too fancy here. However, the OLED full-HD+ display will definitely be a treat to the eyes.
On the processor front, the Huawei Nova 8 SE is said to carry the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC. However, there have been reports of another model carrying the Dimensity 720 SoC.
When it comes to the cameras, the Huawei Nova 8 SE will most likely feature a quad rear camera setup. The setup will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, the smartphone will come with a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Huawei Nova 8 SE will pack a 3,800mAh battery along with 66W fast-charging support. The battery does seem kind of tiny, especially in a market dominated by 5000mAh and 6000mAh capacities. However, only time will tell how much backup it gives to the users.
Moreover, as the back panel pictures do not reveal a fingerprint scanner, the Huawei Nova 8 SE might come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
