Samsung is expanding its Android 17 rollout to more Galaxy smartphones, bringing the latest software update to flagship, foldable, mid-range, and budget devices. After a delayed start, the company has increased the pace of the rollout and is now covering several older eligible models.
The Android 17 Samsung devices update list includes phones from the Galaxy S, Galaxy Z, and Galaxy A series. However, Samsung is releasing the update in batches, so some users may need to wait before it reaches their devices. Galaxy tablets have not yet joined the rollout, according to the report published on October 15, 2026.

How to Check And Download Android 17 On Samsung Phones
Samsung is distributing Android 17 in stages, which means the update may not appear on every supported phone at the same time. Users whose devices appear on the list can manually check for the update.
Follow these steps:
- Open Settings on your Samsung Galaxy phone.
- Tap Software update.
- Select Download and install.
- If the update is available, follow the on screen instructions.
If your phone does not show the update, check again after some time. Samsung has not yet started the Android 17 rollout for its Galaxy tablets, according to the report.
