Asus ZenFone 8 Pro India Launch Tipped via Alleged BIS Certification

Asus ZenFone 8 Pro India launch could take place soon as leaks and rumors of the same keeping surfacing. Now, recently it surfaced on BIS certification with codename VODKA. Moreover, as we know it is expecting to be a part of the ZenFone 8 series launching soon. Additionally, as we know the series is gearing up for a launch on May 12th.

Furthermore, reports suggest all the smartphones in the series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. As per a tweet by a tipster (@the_tech_guy), a smartphone with the model number ASUS_I007D, which is apparently Asus ZenFone 8 Pro surfaced online. This certification points at an imminent launch of the device in India. However, as we know – the global launch of the ZenFone 8 series is on May 12. But we are not sure it will be available for India on the same day as well.

Asus Zenfone 8 Pro Leaks

Asus ZenFone 8 Pro is surfacing online with codename VODKA. It recently surfaced in kernel source code and firmware of the Asus ROG Phone 5. Moreover, other codename references found were “SAKE” and “PICASSO”.

In addition to all of these, there are rumors of a mini variant in the lineup for the Zenfone 8 series. Just like Asus Zenfone 8 Pro, it is also expecting to feature Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is also tipping to feature a 5.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone allegedly spotted on Geekbench with model number ASUS_I006D. Additionally, the ZenFone 8 Mini may pack a 4,000mAh battery and 30W fast charging support, as per an alleged TUV SUD certification.
