Closed Beta Testing (CBT) for OnePlus Nord 2 5G OxygenOS 12 is now available for Indian customers, the firm said on the OnePlus Community forum. The Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition smartphone is not yet there in the programme. The Chinese firm aims to hire 200 closed beta testers for the short-term beta testing programme.
In July of last year, the smartphone was launched in India. The OnePlus Nord was a successor to the smartphone and featured a larger primary camera, a larger battery, and quicker charging as noteworthy advancements.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G CBT is the first step towards a final release that will be more reliable. Open Beta is usually announces after the CBT, followed by a Stable release from OnePlus. This CBT will not be a long-term treatment, unlike its traditional method.
Only a few builds will get release as part of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s CBT programme. In addition to being restrict to OnePlus Nord 2 customers in India, the current programme does not include the Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition.
To participate in the CBT programme, OnePlus will choose 200 smartphone owners to sign a non-disclosure agreement with the firm. In addition, they need to interact, report bugs/issues, and provide recommendations to the software team through Telegram on an ongoing basis.
