Google is rebranding the Fitbit app as the “Google Health” app and introducing a new AI-powered assistant called Google Health Coach in India. The rollout is scheduled to begin on May 19, 2026, and marks one of Google’s biggest steps toward integrating artificial intelligence into personal health and fitness management.

New Plans Starting At Just Rs. 99
Google Health Coach will be available through the newly renamed Google Health Premium subscription service, previously known as Fitbit Premium. In India, the service is priced at Rs. 99 per month or Rs. 999 annually. The subscription will also be included with Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra plans.
What Has Changed? New Features Of This App
- New Google Health Coach uses Gemini AI for personalised fitness and wellness advice.
- Users can ask natural-language health questions and receive conversational responses.
- Four main tabs have come: Today, Fitness, Sleep, and Health.
- Smarter insights based on sleep, workouts, recovery, and daily activity.
- Improved tracking for nutrition, menstrual cycles, and mental wellness.
- Support for voice, text, images, PDFs, and workout screenshot inputs.
- Better integration with Fitbit devices and Pixel Watches through one unified ecosystem.
