Infinix Smart 5 To Launch In India On February 11

Infinix is all set to launch a new budget segment smartphone in India called the Infinix Smart 5. It is launching as the successor to Smart 4 which is also a budget smartphone. Earlier, reports of it launching in mid-February were rife. However, the company now confirms the launch date on February 11 in India.

Here’s a close look at the launch date and specification of the upcoming Smart 5 smartphone.

Infinix Smart 5: Price and Availability

However, the company is not confirming the exact pricing of the smartphone. Although, expectations for pricing are under Rs.8,000. It can launch on Flipkart exclusively.

Moreover, Infinix Smart 5 will also available in various color options: Morandi Green, 6 degrees Purple, Aegean Blue, and Obsidian Black.

Infinix Smart5 Specifications

It flaunts a 6.6-inch HD+ resolution IPS display with a waterdrop notch. Additionally, it comes with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. On the front, there is a waterdrop notch display for the selfie camera.

Under the hood, the handset is powered by an unspecified 1.8GHz processor with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. In addition, there is also an expandable storage of 256GB via a microSD card.

On the optical front, the Infinix Smart 5 offers a triple rear camera setup placed at the top-left corner. The camera includes a 13-MP autofocus primary camera sensor with dual QVGA FF sensors along with an LED flash. Upfront, it houses an 8-MP camera setup for selfies and video calls.

Moreover, it will run on Android 10 (Go edition). For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
