Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has recently been a force to reckon with in the 5G smartphone segment. Their launch of the iQOO 7 5G and iQOO Z3 5G took the mobile market by storm in India. Now, the company is working towards introducing yet another 5G device in the country with the iQOO Z5 5G. This particular device has been a leakster favourite for the past couple of weeks.
The device has recently been officially teased by the company itself to launch in India soon. They hinted towards the launch of the device as “a new buzzzzz”. Going by the five Zs in this statement, it could not be anything other than the iQOO Z5 5G. Now, the time is finally nearing as the smartphone’s product page has gone live on Amazon India.

Noted tipster Techno Ankit took to Twitter to reveal that the iQOO Z5 5G will be launching in India on late September, 2021. He was the one who revealed that the smartphone’s product page has finally gone live on Amazon. The Z5 series of devices are set to launch in China on September 23, 2021. Further, going by previous leaks and reports, we already know of a couple of things in terms of the iQOO Z5 5G specs.
iQOO Z5 5G Specifications (Leaked)
Yesterday, Ankit revealed the officially confirmed battery specifications of the upcoming iQOO device. Going by that, the Z5 5G will pack a big 5000mAh battery. In addition, the battery capacity of the device will pair up with 44W fast charging support.

When it comes to the display of the device, we know a couple of things. For starters, according to various leaks and reports, the device will feature a full-HD+ AMOLED display. Further, this FHD+ AMOLED display will also come with a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the processor front, the device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. Further, the octa-core flagship chipset will pair up with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Moving on to the software, the upcoming iQOO Z5 5G will run on Android 11 OS right out of the box. For now, this is all that can be said about the upcoming device. From the looks of it, we will finally get to hear of an official India launch date pretty soon.
