Nothing is reportedly developing two pairs of smart glasses as it looks to expand beyond smartphones and audio products. According to a report, one model could feature a built-in camera and artificial intelligence (AI) tools, while the second may focus on calls and audio playback.
The Nothing smart glasses could arrive in 2027, although the company has not officially confirmed their development, launch date or pricing. The reported products could help Nothing enter the growing smart glasses market, where brands are exploring hands-free communication, photography and AI-powered features.
Nothing Smart Glasses: Expected Features And AI Integration
According to the report, Nothing is working on two different designs to meet different user needs. The camera equipped model could offer features similar to the Ray Ban Meta smart glasses, including AI assistance and image capture.
Here are the expected features of the two models:
- Camera and AI model: A built in camera, AI tools and possible ChatGPT integration.
- Audio focused model: Support for phone calls, audio playback and interaction with a smartphone's voice assistant.
- Photochromic lenses: Both models could feature lenses that darken in sunlight and become clearer indoors.
- ChatGPT support: The camera equipped version may use OpenAI's chatbot instead of Google's Gemini.
- Expected launch: The glasses could launch in 2027, but Nothing has not confirmed a date.

Nothing Expands Its Product Ecosystem Beyond Smartphones
The reported smart glasses fit into Nothing's broader plans to expand its product lineup. The company already sells smartphones, wireless earbuds and over ear headphones, including its first Headphone (1), launched in 2025.
Nothing is also reportedly developing its first smartwatch under the main brand. However, the company has not officially confirmed the watch's specifications or launch details.
Nothing co founder Akis Evangelidis has also discussed plans to expand the company's smartphone lineup in 2027 and highlighted dedicated business units for audio and AI native products.
