OnePlus recently launched its latest flagship – The OnePlus 10 Pro. But it looks like the rumours mills are suggesting a more premium variant in the works for the series. OnePlus 10 Ultra could be the next smartphone in the works. Earlier, tipster Yogesh Brar suggests this ultra flagship is reportedly undergoing testing. Although no confirmation has surfaced yet, chances are it could launch sometime around the second half of 2022. Now, once again, tipster Yogesh Brar is claiming that the OnePlus 10 Ultra will have updated cameras and more.

OnePlus 10 Ultra is in the works
According to a tweet shared by tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), the rumoured OnePlus 10 Ultra could arrive sometime around August or September. The company is also expecting to release the vanilla OnePlus 10 this year. It might feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC or a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC depending upon the market. Notably, OnePlus has already launched the OnePlus 10 Pro and the OnePlus 10R in India.

Furthermore, OnePlus could also be working on new mid-range smartphones in the Nord series. The cited source claims that the company will be focusing more on cameras with the Ultra model. Although the details regarding the rear camera setup are currently under wraps. But the leaks so far suggest that the smartphone will use a periscope camera, which will be a first for the OnePlus.

Apart from this, no other information is available on the smartphone’s specifications right now. OnePlus 10 Ultra could just be a tweaked version of the OnePlus 10 Pro with some upgrades. Apart from the Ultra model, we could also expect the launch of the standard OnePlus 10 version, according to the tipster. A recent report hinted at the specifications of the rumoured base OnePlus 10. The device will reportedly pack a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset under the hood, depending on the market. The tipster further claims that OnePlus is also working on new Nord phones that might come with MediaTek Dimensity 8000 and Snapdragon 888 chips. Apart from all this, it is also said to planning to launch a phone with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.
