Just weeks after the OPPO A55 launch in India, it looks like the company is moving forward with its successor. OPPO A56 5G will be the successor for the smartphone that launched just a few weeks ago. Moreover, this upcoming device will also be a 5G-ready device as well. Meanwhile, 91mobiles via an industry source learn that the upcoming smartphone will launch soon in India.
In addition, the sources also claim that the smartphone will come in different colour options. Moreover, the official renders reveal the phone’s design. Apart from all of this, there is some information on the OPPO A56 5G specifications. According to the image, it will come in Blue, Purple, and Black colour options. The rear panel also sees a rectangular camera module that houses dual cameras. However, at the front, the phone features a waterdrop notch. The phone also features a side fingerprint sensor.

OPPO A56 5G Specifications
According to the leaks and renders, the upcoming smartphone will be a dual-band 5G smartphone. It might feature the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset inside it. The smartphone will be available in two variants with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM options. Both variants of the smartphone will have a 128GB internal storage option.

OPPO A56 5G sports a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch at the top. It will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with NFC support as well. The smartphone will run on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. Furthermore, it also packs a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charging support and it weighs around 189 grams. The smartphone is fairly slim considering its huge battery with an 8.4mm thickness.

In terms of optics, it will have a dual rear camera setup at the back, with a 13-megapixel primary camera and the second 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots. For selfies, the smartphone will have an 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone is expected to launch in three different colour options namely, Cloud Smoke Blue, Wind Chime Purple, and Soft Mist Black.
