Poco India has been making news headlines with its growing brand. Recently, it emerged as the fastest-growing smartphone brand in the country, as per the International Data Council (IDC) report. Poco, while mentioning the report, said that it saw an 865 per cent growth during Q2 2021 in India. The news comes months after the company, in late May, announced that it became the fastest growing brand in the country with a vast 300% Q1 growth in 2021.
Xiaomi backed brand released several budget and mid-range smartphones, including Poco X3 Pro, Poco M3 and Poco M3 Pro. The popularity of these models became the support that catapulted the company’s growth into triple-digit recently.

Poco India Country Director Anuj Sharma, on the news of the feat, said that the numbers are a result of customers’ endorsement of the company’s brand philosophy – “Everything you need, nothing you don’t.” He also praised the love of the consumers and community members that helped them achieve such remarkable milestones within a short span of their independent journey.
Poco C3, launched last year, marked a milestone growth for the company after selling over two million units in India. Another such successful release was Poco X3 Pro in the mid-range segment. It featured a Snapdragon 860 SoC and packed a 5,160 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. The phone also has a 48MP quad-camera setup and come with a 120Hz LCD.

The company recently launched POCO F3 GT – one of the most highly anticipated products, last month featuring the Dimensity 1200 chipset. Poco C3 became popular and was one of the best sellers. It sold over 20 lakh units on Flipkart alone within 9 months of its launch in India.
