Qualcomm today released a teaser confirming the debut of its next-generation flagship mobile platforms at the annual Snapdragon Summit, taking place September 22–24 in Maui, Hawaii.
Marking a major strategic shift, the company is introducing a dual-tier flagship lineup: the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the higher-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. Built on advanced 2nm process technology, the new silicon family integrates Qualcomm’s 4th-generation custom Oryon CPU architecture alongside Adreno 800-series graphics. The flagship Pro platform introduces hardware-accelerated agentic AI capabilities, next-generation LPDDR6 memory support, and the Snapdragon X105 5G modem system.
