Fireside, podcasting, music, and other professional content creators’ app co-founded by entrepreneur Mark Cuban, launched on Tuesday to help them host live shows with the option to connect with the audience.

The app arrives at a time when social media behemoths and other companies are putting a greater emphasis on live functionality. Live video streaming is available on Twitch and Alphabet’s YouTube, for example, and live audio room discussions are available on Facebook and Twitter.

Fireside App

The Fireside app is India’s first voice-based social platform. The founders of Chingari took advantage of the fact that Clubhouse was only available for iOS users and made the application available for Android as well.

Users can register using their phone numbers or by importing information from Twitter. The Fireside app offers a simple user interface with two tabs for Explore and Communities. Users can go to All Rooms to find and join their favourite voice chat room.

The Fireside app, like Clubhouse, allows you to follow other people and build connections within the platform. The Fireside app will allow content creators to start interactive shows from their smartphones; which will automatically record and transcribe the show.

Fireside also allows users to seamlessly stream their show to other platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch; which simplifies an otherwise laborious process for creators who want to share their content across many platforms, according to Fatemi. Creators can also monetize their events by selling virtual entry tickets or introducing ad breaks.

Fireside’s UI and initial launch look fantastic, and it is a terrific idea. Although I wish it had arrived around early this year; because that was when people were truly interested in voice chat apps. For the time being, users in India will have to wait and see how well Fireside performs.
