Vivo S9 Camera Specs, Design Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Vivo S9 can launch on March 6, as per a tipster on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. Now, it looks like its specs are online courtesy of a new poster. This will be the world’s first-ever smartphone powering on MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 1100 chipset. Moreover, it will also be a successor to the Vivo S7 that launched last year as a selfie-focussed smartphone.

It received the 3C certification earlier this month, which revealed several other Vivo S9 specifications. Additionally, reports and rumors suggest that the S9 launch will take place on March 6th in China.

Vivo hasn’t provided any concrete information when it comes to the Vivo S9 5G price. Only time will tell what the phone has to offer.

Vivo S9 Specifications Revealed in Leaked Poster

Now, a Chinese blogger posted some official posters of the phone that reveal the front camera resolution. We already knew that the S9 will feature dual front-facing cameras that include a 44MP primary camera.

Other Vivo S9 specifications include a triple rear camera setup whose exact details are unknown at this time. On the front, the Vivo S9 will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The standout feature of this phone would be the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset, which is a 6nm powerhouse. Additionally, it can power on Oppo, Realme, Vivo, and Xiaomi will be releasing phones powered by the new SoCs this year.

This chipset also comes with an in-built 5G modem and will be coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Moreover, the smartphone will house a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It will run Android 11 based Origin OS.

Vivo has not shared any information on the specifications, availability, or pricing for Vivo S9 so this information should be taken with a pinch of salt.
