Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has announced the launch of the Vivo Y200e smartphone in India on February 22. This release follows the launch of the Y200 in October 2023. The smartphone is expected to have a leather back with an orange trim, as shown in images shared by Vivo. A blue variant is also set to make its debut alongside the leather version, which might have a glass or plastic build.

Vivo India has revealed that the Vivo Y200e 5G is scheduled to launch in India on February 22 through a post on X (formerly Twitter). The company’s website now features a product page for the upcoming handset. An earlier leak suggested that the phone will likely be marketed in Diamond Black and Saffron Delight shades, with blue and orange colour options being teased. Let’s delve into the complete details.

According to a tipster named Abhishek Yadav, there is an upcoming smartphone that is expected to have a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness. This phone is also likely to run on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14. Moreover, It may offer up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The thickness of the device can go up to 7.99mm and it could weigh up to 191g (Saffron Delight model). It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.
