  • Vivo has officially teased its upcoming smartphone, the Vivo Y600 Pro, confirming one major highlight that is already grabbing attention, the Vivo Y600 Pro battery. The company plans to launch the device in China soon, likely in May 2026, and early details suggest it will focus heavily on battery life and everyday performance.

The teaser also confirms that the smartphone will feature a 50 megapixel main camera. While this is a step down from the previous model’s 200 megapixel sensor, Vivo appears to be shifting focus toward battery capacity and overall usability this time.

Here are the expected specifications of the Vivo Y600 Pro:

    • Display: 6.67-inch display with 1.5K resolution, and up to 120Hz refresh rate
    • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor
    • Camera: 50-megapixel primary rear camera
    • Secondary camera sensor (details not confirmed yet)
    • Battery: 90W fast charging support

The device is expected to deliver smooth performance and improved efficiency, especially for users who need a reliable daily driver.

    Battery And Launch Expectations

The biggest highlight remains the Vivo Y600 Pro battery, which is confirmed to be a massive 10,000mAh unit. This marks a significant upgrade compared to the 7,000mAh battery seen in the previous Vivo Y500 Pro. With this upgrade, users can expect extended usage, fewer charging cycles, and better overall convenience.

Despite the large battery, Vivo is likely to include 90W fast charging, helping users quickly power up the device when needed.

As for pricing, the Vivo Y600 Pro is expected to be slightly more expensive than its predecessor, which launched at around CNY 1,799. The increase may be due to ongoing global component shortages.

Vivo has not announced an exact launch date yet, but all signs point to a May 2026 debut in China. More details, including global availability, should be revealed soon.
