    The company, a few days ago, expanded its F-series smartphone lineup with the launch of the Oppo F17 series. Both the smartphones in this series have similar specifications but has some key different parameters. Here is how both of them differ from each other:

    Key differences in specs for Oppo F17 Pro vs Oppo F17


    Pro comes with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED FullHD+ display with 60Hz whereas, F17 has a 6.4-inch FullHD display with 60Hz.


    Pro has a MediaTek Helio P95 processor whereas, Oppo F17 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC.

    Pro comes with a 48-MP (f/1.7 aperture)+8-MP (f/2.2 aperture)+2-MP (f/2.4 aperture)+2-MP (f/2.4 aperture). In addition, the front camera has 16-MP and 2-MP dual selfie cameras.
    In comparison, Oppo F17 has 16-MP (f/2.2 aperture)+8-MP (f/2.2 aperture)+2-MP (f/2.4 aperture)+2-MP (f/2.4 aperture). In addition, has only one 16-MP front camera.

    Storage and RAM:
    Pro has an 8GB RAM variant with onboard 128GB storage. On the other hand, F17 comes with three RAM options of 4/6/8GB RAM variants with onboard storage of 64/128GB storage.

    Here is where the differences end for both the phones. Both Oppo F17 Pro and F17 run on ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10. Additionally, the phones pack in a 4000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

    Pro will be offered in Magic Black, Magic Blue, and Metallic White color options. Whereas, the F17 variant comes in Navy Blue, Classic Silver, and Dynamic Orange shades. However, Oppo F17 Pro is available for Rs.22,990 in India.

    F17 Pro will go on sale in the country starting September 7, with pre-orders opening later today. There is no word on the sale date for the F17.
