Realme launched its new smartphone of the latest 6 series, the Realme 6s for the European market on 26 May 2020. It will soon be launched in India too, as announced by Realme officials. It will be a budget-friendly phone and have just some nerfed features relative to the Realme 6.
Realme 6S Price in India
Realme 6S, for now, is launched in the European market only and is available to purchase at the price of 199 Euros. This is a mid-range segment device with interesting features. Realme 6S price in India is expected to be around Rs.13000 but there are no speculations about the India launch date.
Realme 6s features a polycarbonate back and has a protection of Gorilla Glass 3. It features a punch-hole selfie camera and the rear camera cutout is the famous vertical setup of Realme. The bottom part of the phone houses a USB Type-C charging port, a 3.5 mm audio jack and speaker grills. On the right side of the phone, you can see volume rockers and the power button which is placed beautifully at the place where your thumb normally rests.
Realme 6S comes in two different colour variants: Lunar white and eclipse black.
Realme 6S has a 6.5-inch full HD+ display (1080*2400 pixels) with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 120 Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 405 PPI pixel density. It has a great design with a punch-hole selfie camera, so the bezels can get really thin. You get a full-screen display while media consumption and the punch-hole camera is barely visible. That screen combined with a high refresh rate gives you a buttery smooth experience and feels a lot snappier than normal 60 Hz devices.
Realme 6S packs a great gaming chipset, the 2.05GHz octa-core Helio Mediatek G90T, which is a 12nm process chipset and gives you high fps in games like PUBG and COD. The base variant comes with 4GB of RAM and you can do heavy tasks with ease. It is a great and cheap alternative to Snapdragon’s 730G. This processor gives you ultimate performance compared to the price with the HyperBoost which enhances the gaming speed.
Realme 6S runs on the latest realme UI based on Android 10 which comes with bright and colourful themes and a user seamless interface.
Realme 6S features an AI Quad rear camera setup with the main sensor being 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.3 aperture; a third 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a fourth 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has Auto Focus. It has a punch-hole camera cut out which houses a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture.
Realme 6S has a 4300mAh battery with 30W flash charge. It is really helpful when you need to play more games. The battery charges from 0-100% in about 65 minutes with the fast charger in-the-box.
In this price bracket, Realme 6S is a great device. If the launch price will be around the expected price, the device will probably be the best. It is a great device and offers premium features and feel while being budget-conscious. If you are tight on budget and want a great value-for-money device, Realme 6S is your phone. But if you can extend your budget, you can buy the Realme 6 Pro or the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in a bit higher price segment.
