Realme Launches C15 Qualcomm Edition In India

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition has been launched in India. The smartphone comes with the exact same specs as its MediaTek counterpart, apart from the processor.

The Realme C15 has already been launched back in August alongside the Realme C12. However, the version launched in August was powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. The new variant, as the name suggests, is powered by a Qualcomm Snadpragon chipset. To be specific, the chipset is a Snapdragon 460 SoC. Now, although it is a Snapdragon 400 series chipset, it delivers equal or even better performance than the Snapdragon 625 SoC. This makes this edition of the smartphone worth every penny.

Besides, the Snapdragon 460 SoC is much more power efficient than its MediaTek counterpart. Moreover, what this indicates is that your battery will go a long way. Additionally, as there is a massive 6000mAh battery on the device, it can easily last you almost two days.

Realme C15 Specifications

As we mentioned before, the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition comes with similar specs as the Realme C15. The only difference lies in the usage of the processor. The Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. Additionally, the display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio alongside a 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, the smartphone runs on Android 10 with the Realme UI skin on top.

On the processor front, the Realme C15 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC. This octa-core chipset is paired with up to 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Moreover, the internal storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

When it comes to the cameras, the Realme C15 features a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there are two other 2-megapixel sensors for monochrome and retro shots, respectively. Moreover, these sensors come with apertures of f/2.2, f/2.25, f/2.4 and another f/2.4, respectively. On the front, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Realme C15 packs a massive 6000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support. Lastly, there is a rear fingerprint scanner for security as well.

Price And Availability

The Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition price in India has been set at Rs. 9,999. Moreover, this is the price for the 3G/32GB variant of the smartphone. Additionally, the 4GB/64GB variant has been priced at Rs. 10,999 in India. Furthermore, the handset is available in two color options namely Power Blue and Power Silver. When compared to the MediaTek version of the device, the Qualcomm Edition is priced at Rs. 500 more.

When it comes to the availability of the device, the device was up on sale today at 12 noon via Flipkart and Realme.com. Furthermore, the company is also providing an introductory offer on the pricing of the device. The 3GB/32GB is going for Rs. 9,499 and the 4GB/64GB variant for Rs. 10,499. 

The Realme C series of smartphones are basically meant for delivering an amazing performance at a super affordable price. The Realme C15 is no exception and with the Snapdragon 460 SoC, it is actually the best in the series. The smartphone is definitely an amazing value for money product that you can get at that price.
