Silicon Valley Billionaire CEOs' Smartphone Choices

Silicon Valley is a hub of brilliant, high-tech companies in the US. From Apple, Amazon, Tesla, YouTube and Uber, all the major companies reside in Silicon Valley. It’s where all the innovation happens.
What do the people running these companies rely on as their daily driver? When you’re spearheading innovation into entire industries on your own, which innovative device do you pick to get you through the day?

From a Cashify perspective, we wonder what happens to the old phones they no longer use? How responsible is the CEO of a Billion Dollar company with his old electronics and moreover, what do these tech billionaires use themselves? Here is a list of few of these execs and their phones:

Elon Musk

The famous Tesla Motors owner, Elon Musk is known to be a regular iPhone user. Though there is no official statement, there are multiple instances where he has mentioned his ‘iPhone’ or ‘iPad’ in his conversation. His biographer, Ashlee Vance also mentioned him using an iPhone in his biography.

Jimmy Wales

He is the man all of us hail for giving us Wikipedia. But what device does he pick? Wales answered a question on Quora, a platform on which he is quite active, mentioning his Samsung Galaxy S5. Evan Spiegel

Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel uses an iPhone. While his current device is as of yet unknown, he recently spoke about his iPhone and the fact that he doesn’t use a case for it because he is very careful with his devices.

Travis Kalanick

As we all know, Travis Kalanick is the co-founder and former CEO of Uber. The 43-year-old is also seen using an iPhone only. Source? Forbes mentioned Kalanick’s frequent tendency to pull out his iPhone during a conference.
