On Thursday, March 31, 2022, Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51 with 12th-generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processor options and Nvidia GeForce RTX 30-series GPU was released India. The new Acer gaming laptop, model number AN515-18, was unveiled in January at CES 2022. It has a 144Hz display, up to 16GB of RAM, and an RGB-backlit keyboard as standard. The Nitro 5 (2022) has a dual-fan cooling system and a quad-exhaust port design for thermal management.

In India, the Acer Nitro 5 (2022) starts at Rs. 84,999. The base model includes an Intel Core i5-12500H processor and 8GB of RAM. At Rs. 1,09,999, the laptop also has top-tier specifications, including an Intel Core i7-12700H processor and 16GB RAM.
The Acer Nitro 5 (2022) is currently available through Acer Exclusive Stores, Amazon, Croma, and Vijay Sales. The laptop is also available in both variants on the Acer India website.

The Laptop was introduced at CES 2022, with a starting price of EUR 1,549. (roughly Rs. 1,30,900).
Specifications
The Laptop is powered by Windows 11 Home. It has a full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixel) ComfyView LED-backlit TFT IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The display also has a viewing angle of 170-degrees.
The Acer laptop is powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core i5-12500H or Intel Core i7-12700H processor, up to 12GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, 512GB of M.2 PCIe SSD storage, and up to 1TB 2.5-inch HDD. There’s also the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, which has 4GB of DDR6 VRAM.
The Nitro 5 (2022) has a four-zone RGB keyboard with a dedicated NitroSense Key. To make gaming more accessible, the keyboard highlights WASD and arrow keys. Company has outfitted the Nitro 5 (2022) with dual 2W DTS:X Ultra-powered speakers.
Killer Ethernet E2600 for wired connectivity and Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i for wireless Internet access are present in the laptop. There are also ports such as HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4. Bluetooth v5.1 is also available on the Nitro 5 (2022).

In addition to various connectivity options, the Nitro 5 (2022) includes a multi-gesture touchpad that supports two-finger scrolling and pinching gestures. The machine also consists of a 720p HD webcam with a Temporal Noise Reduction feature and dual microphones.
