Amazon has launched their Echo Buds TWS (2nd Gen) earbuds in India. The earbuds fall in the premium TWS earbuds category. Moreover, they are priced at under Rs. 15,000 and offer Active Noise Cancellation as well. In this price bracket, there are a variety of earbuds like the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, OnePlus Buds Pro, Sony WF-1000XM, Apple AirPods and more. The newly launched earbuds seem to directly compete with these offerings.

Amazon Echo Buds Price in India & Availability
The Amazon Echo Buds TWS price in India for the 2nd Gen model has been set at Rs. 10,999. Moreover, this price is set for the model with only wired charging support. On the other hand, the Echo Buds 2nd Gen model with wireless charging case comes with a price tag of Rs. 12,999 in the country.
When it comes to the availability of the two earbuds, they can be purchased via Amazon. Both the variants are available in a single Black colour option. Another important thing to note here is that these are the introductory prices of the variants. Later on, the price will go up by Rs. 1,000.
Amazon Echo Buds TWS Specifications and Features
The brand new TWS Buds offer Active Noise Cancellation. For those unaware, Active Noise Cancellation aka ANC prevents background or environmental noise from entering your ear. Additionally, these earbuds also come with a passthrough mode. This mode does the exact opposite of what the ANC mode does. It rather allows you to hear what is going on around you.

Further, the Amazon Echo Buds TWS feature a triple microphone setup. One can also find hands-free Alexa to make use of on the earbuds. However, it also supports Siri and Google Assistant. Users can also use the Alexa app and mute the microphones on the earbuds. Users can also equalise their audio with the Alexa app. Most importantly, the earbuds are compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
Additional features include an IPX4 sweat resistance rating on the device. The earbuds use Bluetooth v5.0 for connectivity. There is a 5.7mm dynamic driver for sound. There are touch controls on the earbuds. Using these controls, you can play or pause your music, turn on ANC or passthrough mode, skip tracks, know battery status and adjust volume.
In terms of battery, the new Amazon Echo Buds offer 5 hours of backup on a single charge. This goes all the way up to 15 hours with the charging case and ANC turned on. Amazon also claims that on just 15 minutes worth of charging, the earbuds can offer up to 2 hours of music playback.
